I'm an economics major in my junior year at Cornell. I've been a member of HSC since the beginning of my freshman year, I was an Active Board Member in 2006, and I'm excited to be President for 2007 (alongside a great group of people)!

I grew up with a certain love for my Hindu roots, and I am very proud to be sharing Sanatana Dharma with the Cornell community. I also serve on the executive boards of two other campus organizations, Therapy Thru Music (TTM) and the Society for Women in Business (SWIB). Please don't hesitate to send me an email with questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding HSC, or simply about involvement on campus - student groups like ours welcome and depend on your enthusiasm!

I've been a part of HSC since my first year as secretary, and I continued to become more involved ever since. Besides HSC, I do other on-campus activities such as research in my major, human development. Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions about Hindu Students Council, including the planning of activities, connections to other clubs on campus, other HSC chapters, etc. I look forward to meeting you all this year!

I am a senior majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society, but I am also studying Biometry and Statistics. I joined HSC several weeks into my freshman year, serving as an Active Board Member in 2005 and Internal Vice President in 2006. HSC has been a huge part of my Cornell experience - I hope to add many more memories in the upcoming year as Ex-Officio. I am excited to work with everyone to make 2007 a spectacular year.

Hey everyone! My name is Saroj Kunnakkat, and I'm an HBHS (Human Biology, Health, and Society) major in the College of Human Ecology. I've been involved with HSC since the start of my freshman year, it has been an amazing experience, from the pujas to the Saturday bhajans and everything in between. I’m a junior, double majoring in Biological Sciences and Biometry and Statistics in CALS. I am now serving my second term on the HSC board; last year I served as treasurer. I'm a junior in Chemical Engineering and I've served as an Active Board member since Fall '05. I've had many wonderful experiences with the past and present board members, in helping to promote HSC at Cornell, and I'm excited to continue our efforts as part of the HSC 2007 E-board!

I am a pre-med junior in the College of Arts & Sciences and am majoring in Economics. I have been an active member of HSC since last year, but this is my first time to serve the organization as a board member.
